We offer a range of in-person community events, designed to shape our community and reflect our values, while providing both learning experiences and opportunities for networking.
Join us for a fun activity as a community – the annual Morning Run in Borisova Garden in Sofia, on the 27th of October! Sign up to the event, using the team information “Women in Marketing – Bulgaria”, complete the event, and join us for a lunch after! 🏃♀️
Our first mini-conference will be on the topic of Google’s suite of products for marketing. We will showcase speakers that will teach attendees about the latest and greatest ways to advance their skills in using Google Ads, GA4, Google Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and Google Cloud ML APIs (including Gemini).

How we plan to bring marketing women together
At this point in time, and for the foreseeable future, we are planning to organise three types of community events.
networking dinners
The most intimate event we have to offer. Capped at 20 people in attendance with two speakers each time, the goal here is to allow for people to really relax and talk to one another, while at the same time learning from some of the best in the game for topics that are a bit more soft-skills-focused but still crucial for our careers as women in marketing. The goal is to bring people from different walks of their career in one place and allow them to get to know one another better, share advice, tips, and network freely.
Mini-conference
5 talks, wrapped up in a shared theme, followed by a networking session with drinks and catering. Think conference, but mini. Think training day but in an hour’s time. All five sessions jam-packed with information. We will choose a nice venue that allows for networking but also allows for people to be comfortable during the lectures.
Casual Networking
Life can’t all be ‘all work, no play’. Community shouldn’t be about this either. With this in mind, we plan on putting together casual networking events, based on our community members’ interests outside of work. Think yoga in the park, BBQs, picnics, retreats, etc. with no other focus besides bringing the community together. In this category, we will also encourage and support our members to organise meet ups and provide opportunities for them to attend marketing-related events together.

Join us as we attend BrightonSEO on the 3rd and 4th of October as a Community Partner! As a WiM-BG Community member, you can enjoy a 10% discount on all tickets for the conference and training, and five community members will be able to attend the two-day conference for free!
Our first networking dinner in Plovdiv took place in September. We benefitted from the wonderful lectures from Mila Chervenkova and Roberta Tihomirova, on the topics Freelance Vs Employed.
Our very first informal community event took place in the sea capital of Bulgaria, Varna, on the 23rd of August, at 20:00 in Monkeys Restaurant. 7 of us met up for dinner and drinks, no formal lectures or presentations—just good company and engaging conversations.
Our very first in-person networking dinner took place on the 25th of July in Sofia. We had the pleasure of welcoming Vassilena Valchanova and Ana Dinkova as our speakers, who spoke about personal branding and how to advance your career. The event was sponsored by Screaming Frog, with a Scholarship Sponsor – Women in Tech SEO Community.
